Student visa rejection

Hey guys,
I applied for a student visa to study in University of Manitoba and when I applied for the visa, I was rejected and the reason given was that I can't VISIT Canada. I didn't apply for a visitors visa, I applied for a study visa. I have reapplied but the reply is taking way too long. What could have gone wrong?

The first application was in February, and the reapplication was in June

Oh dear And you didn’t do medical upfront ? Was it online , also what does your online status says e.g eligibility and background check because this is strange

No, I didn't do the medical upfront. I was waiting to see if they were going to reply and they didn't. I applied online and I also did my biometrics capturing. I have a very wonderful traveling history and I am fully eligible.

Okay by your name I’m guessing you’re Nigerian . Hopefully they will get back to you soon but if it has passed the processing time you can send a webmail to your v/o via your online account . Because I know of someone who applied June 27th and got it 30august a Nigerian . So try sending the webmail .

Would order CAIPS to get more details on why you were refused before reapplying. It is too late for September so you have some time. Hopefully you were able to defer admission.

Thank you very much. I have deferred the admission to January 2020. Fingers crossed
