Student visa rejection for jan 2017 intake

Hi, I applied for student visa on 21 st November and got rejection today stating the other reasons.
My profile is:
Btech-Electronics 2010 pass out
MTech - Electronics 2012 pass out.
2.8 years experience as Assistant Professor.
IELTS- overall 7 with no band less than 6.
Applied for Embedded systems development . (Ontario College Graduate Certificate Program)
I have submitted my file with an SOP.
Please give me some suggestions whether to try again or not. I dont know whether its the course that made my file rejected.

I am Not an expert. But I guess you should be going for course which is higher level than your previous course. I assume that Graduate Certificate program is NOT in higher level than MTech.

Can u share the detailed reason for refusal? What is stated in ''Other reasons"?

Its stated that:
Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of your qualifications, previous studies, employment , level of establishment , language abilities, or your future prospects and plans.
But its not the exact reason i guess..
I a confused as i dont want to persue a masters degree again..
But is it only the option?

TOOK IT COURSE IN LAMBTON
For 2017 same reason the other
Everybody is getting rejected not so sure ..
I was in very much in live with that country lol
I think u should wait ..so am I it's also happening to evry Indian evervy country

But I thought the rejection was coz i am planning to pursue a post graduation after an Mtech from IIT. I just want to study that course. I have given explanations for the same in SOP. Everything was clear, but got a rejection in 12 days yaar. very frustrating as for this course admission thing I am away from my husband too.
Is it possible to reapply with the same course same college? coz i dont find any other course interesting in Canada. But I really dont want to do another masters now. And Phd is not in my mind as of now. Its really a tough task to step into a phd commitment.

What do you mean by everyone is getting rejection? Coz der are many getting the visa. But i never met anyone with my case as in applying after M-tech.

I am really confused , should I wait and reapply or drop this. Coz my rejection time was very fast. So my application is that ineligible in der eyes.

This is highly incorrect, loads of people are getting their visas everyday.. Its not "them" its your application

I agree with Ana.. people are getting visa.. I think it's your application..

yes, I got a mail from cic site that my account has got a new message on saturday. I had linked my application online. So it was der, the application is refused. And today afternoon i got another mail that my application is updated. so i checked my account and found nothing.

If you infact want a visa then go for Phd. Otherwise for a second master they usually reject it unless you have a strong SOP and a very good luck.

Its my personal opinion and not a rule

Even my visa got rejected with the same other reason!

Tenth:84, inter:83, engg (ece):65% worked for 10 months as a trainee (embedded systems) , pgdm (finance) 75, worked for 1.8 years in amazon as a accounts payables analyst applied for douglas college project management British columbia n submitted the visa on Nov 17th got on Dec 1st as rejection as other reason as how Sonia has got..this is really sad.. sop was also strong still rejected

Hey Annam,
I am planning to reapply for may intake after I get my caips note.
Will look into the problem and then will see whether its possible to apply again.I have given a string SOP which was genuine. If that doesnt work i will have to make stories. I have heard students gettibg visa with masters, but not specially in engineering field.

I applied for my study permit on the 23rd of Nov and got my rejection letter this morning. The reason was "your proposed studies are not reasonable in the light of one or more of; your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects".

I have a BA Hons from York University in Communication Studies and I had applied for an Ontario post graduate certificate at Seneca College which needs me to have a Bachelor's degree. I know the problem is not my language abilities because I wasn't required to submit any language test scores. Can anyone help me with this?
I would like to re-apply but I don't think I will have time to wait for the GCMS notes as my program starts in Jan.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
