Student visa rejected.....

I am MIHIR form vadodara actually i got rejection on 20th APRIL i have applied for SEP '11 under SPP.
Basically i am diploma holder completed diploma in COMPUTER ENGG in AUG 2008 than having work experience from dec 2008 to till date.....

Case Specification:

1 Diploma Engg : 59.68 % (Second Class with total 5 backlogs)
2 IELTS : 6 band overall (L:6, R:5.5 W:6, S:6)
3 Loan Letter : 8.5 Form AXIS Bank
4 Offer Letter : ALGONQUIN College With major in WIRELESS/MOBILITY TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN.
5 Working Experience : Having working experience in three different companies.

It is very sad to hear about your rejection.

What was the cause/s given by the Visa officer in your rejection letter (insufficient funds, study mismatch, home ties issue etc)?

Hi Mihir,

Though wireless is a pure electronics/telecommunication subject and is often pursued by BE in E&TC or Electronics, I know many people who are in this field with CS degrees as well.

Now CHC determines interested/eligibility with the documentation you provide with your application.

Have you submitted your interest or work experience or previous education in the field of wireless domain in terms of SOP, work experience letter, or any small certification done?

If you do, I'm sure you can reapply and have the study visa. You just need to make a strong case of your interest in the field of study you want to pursue.

Actually i am working with telecom sector from last 1.5 yrs..... and i submitted all my experience letters....
and i am interested in telecom so i applied in wireless.....

was it a diploma course or a graduate certificate that you had applied to?

it was post secondary course......
what should i do now????

if it is post secondary,then it has to be a diploma course. Since you have already done a diploma course you are better ought applying to a Graduate certificate in your case, or just write a strong SOP to show your reasons for pursuing the course.

Hi, everyone,

This is Sameer, I recently gave my IELTS and scored 6.5 bands . I m B.E in Information Technology 8) passed out in 2009, been working as DBA in some MNC since 2 years. Once i got my Passport I started for Canada for PG DIPLOMA in Computer Information Systems ;D under SPP Category . I got Self Funded over 15000 CAD 8). I havnt applied for any College yet

but I Question is... I passed in 2nd division with 51% and I got Alot of backlogs. Will I Get my Visa???

please advise me..!!
