to me it seems the funds are not enough...in your case i would show 25000$(education) + 10000(for surviving in Canada for 1 year) so atleast 35000$ liquid cash...and you mentioned you are showing 30000$ and value you will get for your car...if it is possible try getting a loan for 10000$ as it will show you have enough assets available for you. Because money in your bank and the loan you will get is liquid money(readily available) compared to your car which may sell or not at the price mentioned. It is important to convince the visa officer when it comes to funds.

I think there is something to find out-

1. If your previous education is not matching with the future program then visa officer can refuse your application. whatever your job history is, admission in a colleges of Canada is very easy, easier admission harder visa. College can admit you but if previous study mismatch with the current you should choose relevant one.

2. Did you submit Tax Certificate? It is a proof that you are not showing black money and your income source.

3. You can show your asset by giving a certificate from lawyer or CA farm (must be in English)

4. Did you submit a Statement Of Purpose (SOP) to Visa officer explaining home ties and benefits of this degree. It is must for every student.

Total of $33,000

What is the minimum amount from 33,000 that i have to show to officer in order not to be rejected? 34,000? 35,000? 36,000?

Heminpatwa, I applied online. So there's not much to return. Also, I think it's stated on the website that it won't be returned.

guri3577, that was the mistake I made the first time. This time, I pulled all the cash I have. It's about $40,000. I think I'm safer this time.

I applied on May 14 and was contacted by email on August 12 to submit my passport. So that's almost 3 months.

I mean u get refusal in april and again apply and get visa??? I get refusal in june but did not re apply may be apply next year!!!
