Hi there
I had applied for a student visa in India which was refused. The reason stated is "you have not demonstrated that you are well established in your country of residence".

Do you think that i can reapply and what documents should i attach to prove it.

I have been admitted to a University in a Masters program without a scholarship. I had shown enough money to cover my studies but didnt take any loan.

Any help would be appreciated

It sounds like maybe you didn't show enough resources to take care of yourself for the duration of your studies. It's not enough to just pay for the classes. You have to have enough to pay for food, clothing, rent, airfare, etc. I think CIC doesn't want to grant a study permit to anyone they think might fall on hard times.

They're trying to make sure you're prepared, I think.

Lil G,
His visa was refused. Once visa is refused no medical is required. Medical comes after visa.

Thanks.
