Greetings everyone. i am from Pakistan. i applied online for a study permit on January 20th 2017, for May intake 2017 in Memorial University of Newfoundland. Unfortunately today on February 8th my application has been refused for the following reasons.
1.You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including: purpose of visit
2. Other reasons
Not satisfied that you are a bonafide student & would depart Canada at end of your authorized stay.

I am currently doing BBA(HONS) and applied as a transfer student(transfer credit). My educational background is as below.
Grade 10th 70% completed august 2012
Grade 12th 50% completed November 2014
BBA(hons) 3.1 CGPA completed 3 semesters. From January 2015 till September 2016.
Ielts. Overall 6.5: Speaking 7, Listening 7, writing 6.5, reading 6
Fee for one year in MUN 8800 Cad$..

now i wrote a good and strong SOP and study plan.
showed bank statement for the last 6 months. Amount showed 32000 CAD$. Source of this money sold property which was solely for my study purposes.
Father's job letter.
Rental agreements we own a house and given it on rent.
Property evaluation certificates.

Please advise what happened what did i do wrong. how can i demonstrate i am a bonafide student and i will leave Canada at the end of my stay.
Should i pay fee in advance even though the university has not asked me to.

Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.

Hey,

Apply for CAIPS for details regarding your refusal. The refusal letter contains only general information. The exact comments of the Visa Officer will be mentioned in the CAIPS Notes.

Accordingly , make appropriate corrections to your file and try to apply again

You can visit this link for applying CAIPS notes

www.caips.ca

Its not two months. The general time for CAIPS notes is 1 month. But sometimes it take more. But as you are applying for MAY intake. It would be next to impossible for you to follow this.
But as per my suggestion, one must take CAIPS notes before re-applying as it has peculiar reasons and comments made by VO.

Its better to defer your start date to Sept Intake and then apply for CAIPS notes followed by re-applying for study permit.

thanks really appreciate the help. Sorry for asking this but is it safe to apply for CAIPS given the VO knows one has applied for CAIPS notes the next time you apply ? and what about the GAP in between all this happening. would that be okey ? or should i continue going to my current university until i reapply?

1. You have the right to have someone to access your CAIPs notes. The VO doesn't care whether you accessed them or not.

Hey,

There are agencies which help you to get CAIPS notes, for Eg : visanotes.ca, they have different packages . u can go through their websites and check the details. It will take exactly 30 days to get the CAIPS notes. This is one of the option. There are other ways also.

You can take advice from a good educational consultant for CAIPS and Documentation.

There is no restriction to reapply for VISA even though you apply for CAIPS.

My suggestion is , go for CAIPS get the exact refusal details , go to a good education consultant, make all necessary corrections, apply again accordingly.

Good Luck.

**** Comments mentioned above are purely personal according to my experience . Do not take it as a professional advice :)

Hello. so today i went to my consultant and he told me that he did not upload my degrees for grade 10th,12th and my university interim transcript. He said that your student# is enough for that.

Now memorial university while at the time of admission only asked for my grade 12th degree and my university interim transcript and my Ielts result. Can this be a reason of the rejection because the VO did not see my degrees and most of all my degree for the grade 10th. Can you please say a word about this. And still when i reapply how do i upload my degrees? or do the VO asks for the degrees if we do not upload them?
