Hello guys

I have been admitted to the Academy of Aeronautics in Quebec and i am waiting to receive my CAQ.

Since it is my first time to apply for a visa in Canada i would like to ask a few question and i would really appreciate if someone could help me and tell me if i do have chances to get the visa or not.

1) The total cost for the 2 year course is 48000 Cad, i already paid 11.000 Cad and i have left 34.000 Cad in my bank deposit. The school representative told me that this amount of money is enough to satisfy the immigration but i am not sure of this. Do you think i should take a loan of other 20.000 CAD or this would put me in a worst position.
2)I have been refused in 2010 a Work and study visa for US and in 2013 a visitor visa for US, should i mention these in my application and the reason i was refused although i am not sure about the reason.
3)I have started the university in 2008 but i will graduate only now because i have been working in aviation 2011-2014 and i have postponed my studies because my dream was working in the aviation and i did not want to quit my job. In 2014 my company declared the bankruptcy and i had to leave my country due to economic issues and i worked in Qatar as a Hotel Staff for almost 9 months but i understood that my dream career is aviation and i quite my job, returned back to my country and finishing my University studies ( only 3 exams left to graduation). Should i put in my visa application my expected date of graduation?
4)My girlfriend(Fiance) is working in aviation in Qatar and she will support me during my studies but we do not have any documents of being together, we are not yet married; should i get some documents from her where she says that she will support me during all my studies?

In case I get the CAQ (and the school assured me that i will get it) is it easier to get the student visa?
I am from Albania and i have traveled in different countries in Europe since my country do not need visitor visa for Europe.

I would like to thank you all for the time and for reading my question.

Good luck to all!!!!!

^^
1. Regarding the cost of study, this might be helpful http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-how-documents.asp#doc3
2. Yes you should disclose those refusals and the reason for it.
3. Make a strong explanation letter/SOP about your study gap, career plans after finishing studies in Canada and show ties to home country to strengthen your application.
4. Have your fiance execute an affidavit of support and include a copy of her payslips and bank records.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Thank you for the reply WANDERMOM, i really appreciated your advices. Regarding the proof of funds i am planning to take a loan of 20.000 CAD which can cover all the tuition and the money i need for 2 years but i am concerned that this will appear as a bad thing to the VO.
Regarding the affidavit wold it be a problem since i am not married to my fiance, does Canada recognizes Fiance term?
My former manager in aviation who is a well know pilot and working for Airbus will issue me a recommendation for the pilot course and i hope this helps.
Can you give me any example how to show strong ties to my country because as far as i know even my US visas was refused for this reason.

Kind Regards

Hi pilot to be.

Im not sure about the loan thing, let's wait for others to answer your question about that.

With the affidavit from your fiance, I don't think there would be a problem since Canada recognizes common law union.

A recommendation would be good on your application.

Home ties - parents left at home, children, properties in home country, fiance?, a letter from your superior stating that a job is waiting for you in the company after you finish your studies in Canada would be very helpful.

Yes, provide documents of your parents' properties and mention it in your SOP.
