What is the easy way to get PR ? Directly applying for PR or going in as student and then applying for it.

Well it depends on a lot of factors. Your job experience matters, language skills. If you have a masters, 3 years of work experience and can get CLB 8-9 IELTS score it is better to apply directly for PR. Otherwise getting a student visa and getting Canadian experience if you can is another road to a PR. It all depends on your personal profile..

Great. Then it is better to directly apply for PR. If you have ielts scores CLB 10 or CLB 9 you can easily score well above the current points.

The only concern going in my mind was that , anyhow I will have to do any refresher course related to my field for a decent job . This was the reason for thinking to apply via student PR

Well if you can manage to get a PR, it is the best option. Once you are a PR, you will only have to pay domestic student's fees for education plus you will be elegible for many govt grants. Otherwise you will have to pay international student fees which is very hefty.
