Student Visa Issue

Hi everyone

I am 2016 batch pass out and have work experience from March 2017- July 2018. From July till date I have not worked anywhere.

Now, I have got acceptance from Concordia University and would be applying for visa soon.

What are my chances of getting visa after having 8-9 months of work experience gap? And how do I justify this?

Mention as preparing for IELTS or doing freelance work or something on those lines.

Is work experience gap really considered a red flag when applying for student visa?
