I have submitted my application on 12 march 2012 till now i don't receive my visa. i got admission from waterloo unv. and the term will be started this coming may (1st May). i emailed them and they reply as follow:
Please be advised citizens of the following countries are subject to a mandatory wait period. The usual wait period is 20 working days (not including US and Canadian statutory holidays) but may be longer depending on the case. Your file will require additional processing time.
Afghanistan, Bosnia, Iran, Iraq, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Macedonia, Montenegro, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Sudan, and Syria. The same waiting period also applies to holders of travel documents issued by the Palestinian Authority.
Your file number for your reference is Sxxxxxxxxxxxx. We will contact you once your file is finalized.
