If you are attending university rather than college, there's a high chance IRCC will refuse the study permit. For university studies, they want to see individual scores no lower than 6.

but my university didn't ask for ielts. they gave me admission without ielts as my undergraduation was in english language.. but then also i took ielts n scored 6.5 .. now say?

Doesn't change the answer. Just because the university accepted you doesn't mean IRCC will approve the study permit. I would try applying for the study permit without your IELTS result and hope IRCC doesn't ask for them. If you include your IELTS results, very good chance you'll be refused.
