Hi,

Most Master degree courses in Canadian universities require a 4 years Bachelor's degree with minimum B grade or 60% average and an IELTS score of 6.5 (with no bands less than 6). Some universities may consider 55% as equivalent to B grade.

Also, there are not many Master degree in tourism courses in Canadian universities. You will find loads of tourism & hospitality related diplomas and degrees though.

Given your profile - quality work ex. in hospitality sector, and provided you have atleast 55-60% in your graduation, the best thing will be to apply for a Master's degree related to tourism and/or hospitality... so as to have maixmum chances for securing Canadian study permit.

There is one such course offered - MA in Tourism Management at Royal Roads University, Victoria, B.C. They require B grade in UG degree (not mentioned 4 year degree..means they may accept if your graduate degree form IHM is atleast 3 years long degree) and atleast 2 years work ex. in hospitality sector. This course, perfectly matches your profile. Once you get visa..go there..you can always change over to any other course in any other college/university/other province, provided you get admission in the new course. Up to you.

Then there's another similar course in a Canadian public university: MSc in Tourism and Hospitality or Graduate Diploma in Tourism Research at univ. of Guleph.

even, if you may not be eligible for direct entry to the 2 years Msc., you may gain admission to the 1 year graduate diploma, and then progress to Msc.

To find more such courses, you need to do detailed research and visit other Canadian university websites. Here's the list of ALL recognized Canadian educational institutes eligible for OCWP+PGWP, listed according to province:
