Hi, my name is Parul & I've received a conditional letter of acceptance from Humber college for Fall'21 intake. My program is Public Relations Postgraduate Certificate (8 months). My query is: I'm completing my undergraduate education (bachelors degree) in English Literature from University of Delhi and currently possess transcripts for 4 semesters. Awaiting result for 5th semester and going to appear for 6th semester in May. Results and degree to come in June, 2021. Can I apply for Visa in SDS category, as it mentions the "most recent transcripts required" or wait to till June? My major CONCERN: Won't it be too late to apply in June, as classes begin on 3rd September?

What is the deadline mentioned on the conditional offer to fulfill the requirement? You’ll probably require Provisional or Final Degree along with Final semester transcript to receive a firm offer granted the seats do not fill up and they do not revoke your conditional offer. Also check for the fees deadline for the fall intake which is also somewhere around mid June. I think you should apply for Jan intake if you’ll get your documents in June. 4-6 months time is definitely required from application to landing in canada. (Especially in this post pandemic recovery period)
In my personal experience, my exams for May 2020 got delayed to Sep-Oct and received provisonal result in mid November. I applied for Professional Accounting program in May intake 21 and 2 programs (Marketing Management and Professional Accounting) for Sep intake 21 on Dec 15 for Sheridan in single application, received conditional offers on Jan 13 for the three programs, submitted several emails and awaited replies that come after 5 business days and finally they added the option to upload the degree and final official transcript for final semester on Feb 1 on the Sheridan Application Portal and after fulfilling the condition only received firm offers for Fall intake while the May one still shows conditional on the portal.

Hello! Thank you for your message and sharing your experience. It's valuable. The below statement is mentioned in my offer letter from Humber:

"You must meet the following outstanding condition(s) two weeks prior to the first day of class. • Your offer is conditional upon proof of successful completion of your current post-secondary program, all subject and grade requirements as outlined in our Calendar, Academic regulations and Admission Requirements for your country."

The fees deadline is April 7, 2021 (as mentioned in the offer letter). Do you think, even through SDS category 4-6 months time will be required? I personally do not want to defer my intake to Winter/January 2022. Given my situation and other students completing their bachelors education till June 2021, then NO CURRENT STUDENT would be able to land in September?

What do you think?

I follow a different curriculum (Cambridge A Levels) but the situation is the same for us too. Almost every A level student applying for a bachelors will get a conditional offer based on the final A level grades. The problem is that the final grades are only released in mid-August so there are only two weeks before classes start in September. But every A level student applies with the conditional offer and provisional transcripts and i am yet to see a refusal case where the visa officer has raised an objection regarding this issue.

Here's a link to the official website regarding conditional offers. Hope it helps.
