Student Visa application

Hello everyone,
I applied for the Canadian study permit from Lebanon on March 6th, 2020 and completed my biometrics on March 12th, However till the moment I haven't heard any update from CIC regarding my application. I know that the current situation (COVID-19 outbreak) is affecting the processing times but still the application is taking a lot of time to move one step forward I guess.

Any help?!

To be honest, it’s going to take you a long time!! In land people are waiting since November 2019 and due to covid they have delayed processing applications.

I see... I know it is not quite accurate but Do u have any idea why the expected processing times for such application on CIC website shows 5, 6, or 7 weeks (Keeps changing every Wednesday)?
