Hello Everyone,

I am trying to apply for a student visa for Canada. I did get an offer letter from a recognized university in Canada and now the only part remaining is the submission process for the application.

Its just that I recently got married to a guy who is a Canadian PR and I am wondering if adding all the details about him would impact my application.

Moreover, in the Declaration of Custodian form, weather I should put his details or not as my custodian.

Please share your experiences.

Thanks

You MUST be honest and mention everything! You'll have to sign and "certify you don't have a spouse". Lying in an application will be of no good to you and your application will be refused immediately

Thanks for the replies.

I am not gonna lie of course.

I am only worried that I don't get rejected because my spouse is a PR in Canada.

I am wondering if someone else have been through the similar scenario and have been granted the visa and if they could share their experience.

Thanks
