Student Visa and Residency Obligation

I am a returning resident not meeting RO and I never have a PR Card.

I am thinking if it is ok for my child to study high school in Canada as an international student? Student Visa (SV) will be required.

As a parent, my name will appear in the SV application but I do not want to interact with immigration before I meet my residency obligation.

Any advice or anyone know what will happen or what I should do, please help!

How are you planning on entering without the PR card?

In order for your daughter to get a student visa as an international student you will need to appoint a guardian for her. You will also have to give your information and the father's information.

I'm currently living in Canada and I will have to stay here for 2 years before I can apply my PR Card.

Does it mean I will have to exposure my identity, and therefore, jeopardising my PR as I have just returned to Canada?

I learned, from other area in this forum saying, that I should not interact with the immigration before I meet my RO again. For example, I should not apply my PR card now. However, I am not sure whether or not my child apply a student visa will also affect me, and eventually might cause me to loss my PR?

Yes you will have to give your information if your daughter wants a student visa or even a visitor visa. There is always a risk that this may trigger an investigation into your file which would result in you losing your PR. You are already quite lucky that you were not reported at the US border if you don't even have a PR card.
