Student Visa after Education gap of 6 years

Hi Everybody,,

New in this blog..

This is not a blog. It's a forum. Blog is a completely different thing.

Wanted to clarify on some points before I start breaking my piggy banks ;D
I did my 12th in 2002 (49%)..and completed grad in 2005 (52%)-correspondence.Since then,I have been a crew in different airlines (Including one international airline) and do hold a well traveled passport..Now after 9 years of my graduation would I still stand a chance to get admission in Canadian Universities.
PS : I am married and have a kid (2 years)

Already spoke to one of d consultants in Delhi//according to her my case is weak because of the Gap years..

Please throw some light,,

My advice to you is to fire the consultant, go to www.cic.gc.ca and read up on Studying in Canada. Read EVERYTHING, every single word. Every embedded link. Once you have done that, come back here and ask questions.

As for study gap, I have 30 years study gap and I am in Canada studying. Mind you, I am from a TRV exempt country but still.

Why? What level (post-bacc? Masters?)? In what field? How will it help you in terms of job/career? Why in Canada?

I did B.Com....and now looking for a change in job profile,thus,further studies.. MBA,,,or PG Diploma will work in tourism,,,or hospitality..it shall help me to move up in industry....and well,,,why not in Canada..!!

I have completed my 12th in 2005 and having a gap of 10 years beacuse of some problems i couldnt continue my studies n got caught up in family business
Now i want to study again in canada diploma course education has no age sir..i realy want to study i wasnt sitting idel since i completed my 12th was working in my family business of garments..so please let me know the requirements to get a students visa for canada

Hi all,

I am seeking some advice from experienced folks for my case.
Here's a glimpse of my profile:

Age : 33
IELTS : 7.5 in June 2015
B.Ed : in 2007 )with 78 %
M.Sc (chemistry) : 2006 with 60 %
B.Sc (chemistry) : 2003 with 67 %
12th : (science) : 2000 with 88.4 %
10th : 1998 with 89.2 %

Marital status : divorced

Experience : more than 5 years as teacher in a private school drawing approximately 28,000 pm

Visa rejection : I was refused tourist visa last year stating that i have no ties to my home country and that i have shortage of funds.

I have got LOA from Vancouver Island University for an M.Ed in Educational Leadership.

Now, i am confused about following

1. I have obtained GIC. Should i apply under SPP or general university category

2. Under SPP, the document checklist is so small that i dont understand how will the VO assess my case

3. Which out of SPP or general will be beneficial for obtaining visa in my case as a mature student

4. How long can SOP be ? Should i mention about my divorce in SOP ?

5. SPP says dont submit any documents unless asked except the ones mentioned : they only want GIC, receipt of tuition, last diploma, etc.

6. Even the application form is so concise that it is not allowing to explain things in detail.

I am very confused : what path to follow.

I am Indian ..I have done B.E.Computer Science in 2009...during my diploma before Graduation, I had 1 year drop...However,In the graduation I did not had single ATKT..Its all clear through out...I have around 5.6 years of IT experience. My age is 30...I have applied for Lambton college's clod computing with Big data course in Jan 2016 Intake..which i newly started this year..I got conditional offer letter from college..as yet to give IELTS...I have booked my IELTS for 10th Oct..For Lambton , IELTS score required is 6 band..Hoping to get that..
I wanted to check like, if there is problem in getting Student visa..My consultant told me there are 75% chances of visa acceptance..whereas others are saying you can not go ahead..Should I apply under SPP or non-spp(General)
I wanna strongly go ahead with Education ..Please suggest ..Awaiting for genuine and speedy reply for chances of visa in my case..

Ielts:- 6.5overall ( L-6.5 ,R-7,S-6,W-5.5)
Applied for post graduate diploma in Accounting in Selkirk Collage
Visa send to Banglore VO.

PA Seeking 2 Years acct. diiploma. Previous BComm, 1 Semester failed and 15 Courses under 50%. BAsed on past academic performance, not satisfied the PA would be sucessful in proposed program of study. Based on the above, on balance, I am not satisfied that proposed studies are reasonable in light of qualifications/educational background. I am not satisfied this applicant is a boba fide student. Weighting the information on hand in this specific case, the applicant has failed to establish that thay are a bona fide temperory resident who will leave canada following the completion of their studies pursuant to section R216 (1)(b) of IRPA. Refused. [/b]

Now m applying again in jan16 intake but m totally worried and confused wat to do like as if now i have the change the course its pg diplo in business administration as in the same college pg diplo in A\c is there but for 5 sem for jan intake so i changed the course to pg diplo in business admin for 2 years

please suggest me what should i do ??
Should i change the Course or not ? or Should i change the cousre and college both?

Student Visa after Education gap of 5 years

Hi,

I had completed my MBA in 2010 and after that i am having three year experience can i apply for study visa and what are the chances.
1 how much score needed in Ielts. (Gen or Acc iam having 6 band in gen)
2 how much funds needed?
3 in which category i can apply?

Hii I have a total of 3 gaps one is in 10+2 in maths where i was failed in maths and I reappeared for it next year and passed second i have done Btech cse for one year which I left but for that I have made a certificate of diploma in computer application of one year and thirdly i have done BCA which was supposed to be completed in 2015 but due to one back I completed it in 2016..means in total excluding the btech gap i have 2 years gap..so can i apply for pgdiploma from canada this sep?? I have 7 bands in ielts not less than 6.5 in each and above 60% in my 10,10+2,BCA...I have talked to agents and they are saying your chances of getting visa are less..Is gap really a big issue even though anyone has fulfilled all the criterion also..Guyz plzz reply

Student Visa after Education gap of 10 years

I completed my graduation from DU in 2006 (correspondence) with 37.25%. I have been working continuesly since 2005 till date as a pension analyst.

Can i get admission in any college in canada for HR? so that i can use the skills gained from this degree in my career?

I know that i have so many things which are not in my favor but i was still hoping is there any scope wheter i would get admission and student visa for canada?
