Hi

I think on application of FSW one has indicated that one wants to migrate to canada . So subsequent sudent visa will be rejected .

Can someone confirm the same .

Not necessarily. "Dual intent" is not, in itself a reason to reject an application. But you still need to meet the requirements of the study permit , and what you must do is convince the VO that you understand that you must leave Canada at the end of your period of authorized stay, and that you have the intention and means to comply.

hi jes_0n, may i ask something? did the VO requested you for medical before PPR? coz i submitted my CEC application 2 months after you submitted yours. they received my application on july 14, 2010. and my application is in new york VO too. so i am basing my timeline with yours. hope everything will be ok with my papers.

hbic - I'm confused, your profile says you're an FSW1 applicant, did you apply to both FSW and CEC?

I did my medical last October - so no, I did not wait for the VO to request it.

You are supposed to wait for the medical request, but DMPs in Canada can/will do it "in advance" and the results have been accepted by CIC. More recently. CIC-Buffalo has started sending medical requests with AORs.
