STUDENT VISA - 8 Years Education Gap

Hello

I am a IT Software Professional Working for a Indian IT Company who has Canadian customers like CIBC,TD Bank,etc.
I had been to Canada for work purpose in 2013 for a short time span of 3 months but now i plan to study in Canada.
I have applied for SPP program - Project Management PG Course in a college in Toronto.
What my immigration mediator says is that I may get a visa refusal due to 8 years of education gap as i had drawn my last degree in 2007.

But i have worked and served as IT Support for Canadian Financial Services for more than 5 years.

I have also applied for Canadian express entry and my file is accepted in the pool.

What is my chance of application getting through.

Need Help to understand all permutations.

Please help !!

Why wont you get your PR in express entry first and then go to Canada? Your study cost will be reduced by 75%

Project Managment? You are screwing your professional life up

@swappyj25, no need to get disheartened by the discouraging comments. If you are interested in project management, go for it for sure. Now regarding your other questions. One of my friend, who had similar experience from India and 2 year experience from Bahrain, studied Project management from Fleming college in Peterborough and got job as a business analyst in a leading telecom provider. So follow your interests and don't get disheartened by general comments about anything.

I have a study gap of 14 years but I got my visa. If your working during this study gap, then there is no issue. Also, make a strong study plan where you discuss your reason why choosing Project Management and why in Canada. Then give them more reasons why your coming back to your home country. The more you convince them that your leaving Canada the more chances you get approved.
