Hello, everyone. I have a few questions about the student permit app.

*Proof of funds:
On the government website they say there are minimal funds needed. If I am going to study at a university for 4 years, do I have to show money enough for these 4 years or only for the first?
When I get the acceptance letter, do I have to app to get the student permit after paying the tuitions, bc I dont think this is quite safe. Actually, if I have the right to choose, should I pay before or after the student permit? What do u guys think?
Is it ok for a 18yo, being maintained by their parents, go to Canada, and hopefully, get a work-study at the university?
Lastly, what should else I add to the minimum funds present at the website (e.g. transportation...)?

You need to show 25k minimum for first year, but I would recommend showing a lot more. Why do you not think it's safe to apply for study permit after paying tuition? Everyone has to do this. If you don't get accepted, college/university will refund

I paid first year after I got the visa, but I think it depends on your circumstances and the college/university rules
