Please, help me out. I have full scholarship funding for MA program in Canada. My schools resumes on 4th Sept. I applied for student permit on 11th July but got refused today 7th August. The reasons are: I am not sure you have sufficient and available financial resources to pay your tuition without working, length of proposed study in Canada, purpose of study, and personal assets and financial status.

Why all these? I have full scholarship and presented a bank and investment account from my brother. I don't understand the reasons for my rejection. What can I do now guys? Please, help! My time is very short.

Thanks
Your best option now is to defer your admission otherwise you "might" be facing another rejection given the processing time. Getting a full or a type of scholarship isn't an "utmost" guarantee of an approval if certain requirements are not met to satisfy the VO, and unfortunately, you are among those applicants.

Getting a scholarship should so be backed with a showing of good financial sufficiency. There was no financial commitment from your brother despite him opting to sponsor you and show his investment and bank account.

In fixing this, he should show commitment by transferring some sufficient funds into your personal account because the VO will be assuming you are working( given the assumptions that Masters students already own a work experience). Now, try to show employment letters, letter of introduction, leave letter, payslips etc if you didn't show all this before(this will also cover the reasons of personal asset and financial status if no property his owned). In additional to make it more stronger, still show your sponsors financial documents and landed properties(if he owes business, show business certificate in inclusion to the investment account or certificate showned before). And if you is from one of the countries that needs to pay GIC for living expenses as per CIC requirements, please do irrespective of the scholarship.

The purpose of visit might come from your course choice or weak SOP.. get your gcms notes to properly ascertain this
