Hi,guys,

I was planing to apply for Documentary Film certificate program in Seneca.

I got my student permit (SPP) refused for 3 reason:

1.purpose of visit (it seems everyone got refused for this)

2.your current employment situation

Yes, indeed.. Since I graduated in 2013 as a physics bachelor degree, I didn't get a job, I was doing a part-time job as a Website Developer.

But I have demonstrated this in my document clearly.

Then what else do you want?

3.your travel history

I will fix this by traveling to japan the next month.

Please give me some advise under this situation.

Thanks ;) ;)

Try to change the program.
It doesn't match with your previous education.
CIC have this one liner rejection reasons for everyone. which clearly doesn't explain anything.
Better order caips or whatever they call it this days (please search it) to find the exact reason for your rejection and plan accordingly.

Good Luck.

I am so sorry to hear that. I can imagine what your going through now.

Just be confident and re-apply. But this time PUT IN THE EFFORT !!

As amaan singh said, ordering the CAIPS notes wouldbe the best start.

Good Luck !!

Thanks so much for advice.

I have just ordered caips and hoping for good news.

The problem to me is I don't want to learn any physics at all, on top of that, as far as I have found out there isn't any certificate program related to physics field. In other words, Whatever certificate program I apply for, it would not match my previous education.

Actually I was expecting this as an opportunity, perhaps solely, for me to change my current major and pursue my dream, which I have demonstrated in my study plan. :(
