I need some advices.

My friend student permit got rejected after 4 months of waiting - He has a letter of approval for college intake Sept 2021 - Background in Commerces and the course will be marketing strategy management so still time for reapplying.

Reasons:
1. No travel History
2. Financial funds

He doesnt have any travel history. - We dont know how to address this situation.

Financial funds - He got the money because his mom sold a land and she is paying everything for him. - He presented the titles and all paperworks. But the money she deposited was in the account just 3 months old. We are thinking right now using a Bank Certificate valid from this month until July so he can use this money to pay everything in Canada starting from september.

To add more: He finished the pathway university online from AILAC (English academy from Toronto) - Just a week ago.

Any Advice?

You need to order your notes, but is the bank statement presented in your name or your moms?
Im gonna order them but do you know how to order notes from outside CA.? Under my name becuase my mom transfered the money to me. And attached my mom’s bank account too.

-Side Note: He’s going to respond all comments from my account here -

Been saying the same thing on this forum repeatedly, young bank statements scream refusal.

Work exp. / Travel history are an integral part of home ties. Pretty straightforward and fixable isssues.

Hi can we have a sticky thread here on this forum for unofficial do's and don'ts of visa permits by reputed members.

Also. If I dont have a travel history. Not even domestic travel and no work experience, how do i prove strong ties to my country.
And is it even necessary to write in an SOP, i mean, SOP isnt compulsory for SDS students after all.

Will look into such options either way I am a regular guy just like you.
Regarding ties if you lack those two then producing longstanding properties on your name will boost the chances or create travel history by visiting foreign countries and returning successfully. If you are going for a good university with good grades and under the 25 age bar the VO will most probably ignore scrutinizing such things.

Whenever you have a low bank balance and deposit any huge money recently in your account, allow it to sit there for a while, so that when you print your statement, the time you put the huge sum in doesn't show. e.g deposit in January. print your bank statement for the past three months from February, March and April. When you finally print your statement, all the V.O sees is a good account balance and your other regular transactions. Then they are convinced that you are financially stable.

1) Travel to two neighboring countries and get a visa stamp on your passport. Or go to Dubai for a vacation and get the visa stamp on your passport.
2) Pay one full year tuition. And have proof of funds not less than 10,000 CAD in his own account. And of course his mom has to still show her bank statement and properties.

He should not be in a hurry to reapply. Get everything in order first.

Immigration is evolving, these days VOs are strict about ties being on PA's name.
2 days ago one person was refused despite showing $100,000 on their name.

Other's names are only accepted for children below 18.

It depends on your country of nationality. Discrimination based on bad experiences with former students
