Student Permit Online Application from Philippines (January 2015 intake)

Hey guys!

I'm starting this forum to have an update of those who applied online for the January 2015 intake. Any visa approvals yet? Here is my timeline:

Applied online: Nov. 7, 2014
Medical Request: Nov. 9,2014
Completed Medicals: Nov 24, 2014
Medicals Passed: Dec. 1, 2014

No updates from CIC yet. :-[

how long does it take to get the the student permit through online?

Applied Online: October 1 2015
Medicial Passed: October 2 2015

No updates from CiC since then.

I thought you could only apply for a study visa once the college/uni intake started? for me that meant earliest date for study permit submission was oct 1 2015 (for january 1 2016 class start). Which is a very very short time between those dates just to get processing and visa stamp...you can apply even earlier?!

Ive already got my loc from the school and they said that I should send them a copy of my student visa as soon as I get one.
How did you apply online? Did you go to the cic office?
In applying online, should you have the medical result ready or they instruct you to get after applying online?
