Student Permit-NY Office (Awaiting since June 22nd)

I sent my application package by Fedex and the New York office received it on June 22nd.

I got several email reply on July 23rd, July 30th and Aug 3rd, from them says my application "is in queue for reveiw".

Anyone got any idea about what can I do now?

The website says the process time is supposed to be 6 weeks!

Can I go to NY to get my application back and apply again in person?

Hi,

For student and TWP applications the CHC-NYC only allowed applicants to send their applications thru mail. You just have to wait for the result of your study permit applications.

If your documents taking so long in the embassy beyond their processing time you can send them an email or fax to know the status of your applications
