No update, applied last April 14. Abu dhabi VO is so messed up.
I will probably get a diploma before getting a study permit. My online study will start next week.

Sorry to hear about this, dude. The relative thing is so dumb imo. Those who want to overstay will overstay regardless of any relatives being there. Matlab , kuch bhi...

I don’t know how to address this concerns. Theres nothing i can do with my ties in Canada.
The immigration status must be me being resident of UAE, should i go back to Philippines and apply from there? Do i need to give up my job here and be unemployed in Phil? If I’m jobless in phil would that be another ground for refusal?

So sorry to hear that...it seems they are giving unreasonable rejections these days. Your profile is strong, please re apply if this is what you want and try to address their concerns.

Sorry to hear that. You could show that your ties to your family members in Filippines is more than to Canada, like you lived with them all your life, properties for parents in Philippines and so on. Order GCMS notes to know exactly why it was rejected

My profile was updated today (no email received). When I opened my account there was nothing new, looks like they updated something and removed it lol.
My eligibility review started from about 1 week ago or more.
