Student Loan Requirements

Hello Everyone ,
I have just give class 12 exams (science with maths) and I wanted to go Canada for my higher education, I am planning to opt for January session. I am from a middle class family and I don't want to give any kind of financial burden to my family. Please tell me what are the requirements to get a Student loan for a Canadian college or University.
I am from India.

Buddy tell us ur complete profile n wat all u have as in security to show....wats ur father income.. loan is a gud idea go to some gud bank n ask wat all do they need

I have just passed class 12 with 62%, , IELTS 6.5 Bands no band less than 6.5, My father is a govt. employee (salary 30k) . Please suggest me a gud bank n their major requirements in order ot get loan.

Try Credilia they'll process it early and you DONT have to worry about roaming around with documents they'll come to your place and collect it!! And docs for any bank are :
- all your mark sheets till now
- your ielts marks
- your fathers salary slips latest 6 months
- your fathers itr and form 16
- your father yours and your moms I'd and address proof !!
- your security details such as your property or any assests !

Dont go ahead with credila.
Try some government banks and if you want loan of above 7.5 lacs then u need a property for mortgage otherwise its not possible.

Better try for some scholorships

Go to syndicate bank, upto 15 lacs only guarentor's sign would do. Post 15 lacs u will need asset. Well, firstly they require ur LOA, n your clg marksheet, IELTS scorecard. I will check n tell u in details.

Is there any Govt. Bank which can provide loan with any collateral ???

Most college's fees exceeds 7.5 lakhs and banks will ask you to give papers of your property as a collateral.

Syndicate Bank;

Security
For loans upto Rs.4.00 lac - NIL.
For loans above Rs.4.00 lac and upto Rs.7.50 lac - Collateral in the form of satisfactory third party guarantee acceptable to the Bank.
For loans above Rs.7.50 lac - Collateral security with 25% margin covering the loan amount and assignment of future income of the student for payment of loan instalments.
