Student direct stream process

I am from Pakistan and I have to apply for student visa for Canada so I can start my 4-year undergraduate program at University.

Due to the coronavirus situation, agencies are closed so we can only apply using the student stream process since it is online. However, one problem which I do have is that it requires:

“Proof of full payment of tuition for the applicant’s first year of study
This may be in the form of the following:

  • a receipt from the DLI
  • an official letter from the DLI confirming payment of tuition fees
  • a receipt from a bank showing that tuition fees have been paid to the DLI
  • proof that the tuition fee amount has been transferred into a repository account at the DLI to be applied to the tuition bill at a later date”.
So, my problem is that they are asking us to make the payment for a full year in one go. This is unrealistic because students usually pay for the deposit fee for each semester or for each few months separately. Students don’t usually pay for a full year of University in one go, it’s a huge amount and universities always ask us to pay this in small amounts instead of all of it together in one go. So what do I do now? Is it necessary to pay the whole year’s fee in one go? Please tell me if I have any other option.

If you want to apply through SDS then it is mandatory that you pay the first year tuition in advance of applying for the study permit.

If you don't want to or cannot pay the first year tuition fee in advance, then SDS is not an option for you and you will have to wait to apply until agencies reopen.

You can apply online under non sds processing if you choose no to the question 1st year tuition fees paid then your application will be automatically changed to non sds

In india, sds category is followed by 1 year upfront tution fee(2 semesters) along with gic bank deposit.. these are few conditions applicants need to follow to be eligible under SDS category.

I got 3 refusals in the study permit in the past and I want to know that my consultant is saying that my fil will fall in non sds because of showing extra funds due to refusals. is that true or I can still apply for SDS.

I paid 1st-year fees and bands are also above 6.5.

Not true. I don't know what your consultant is trying to say. If you pay your full first year fee and get a GIC of 10k minimum then you are eligible for SDS. you also need upfront medical exam for sds. Doesn't matter how many times you apply

You can't apply through sds without paying fee for the entire academic year

Hey it would be appreciated if someone can give me answer of my following query.

Can I get automated reply from ircc after I will submit online application under SDS category?

If yes then can you please post email format in reply.
