Anyone got visa after applying in june . Heard the strike is pretty bad in new delhi and might push the processing times from 15 days to 2 months. I applied on june 3rd university category, a friend of mine applied on may27th and got it on june 3rd(same uni) but havent heard anyone getting after that.

When did the strike start? Dude, how can a few days of strike cause the processing time be pushed to 2months? I guess the processing time will be 15days+number of days the strike lasts. Anyone has any idea of how long it could lats?

Most of us don't have any idea until news publication in the internet.

the strike is on rotation basis... it means, not ALL Visa officers have stopped working at the same time in a same embassy ... but, canadians are usually a bit slow people and take advantage of process lag.... thus, i believe process will be delayed on an average of 20 days ...

I got my approval email today (June 19th). Applied on June 4th (VFS-blr => CHC New Delhi) under university category.

wow dude! its good to hear that they are still processing during the strike ;D :D

Its good to know that study permits are still being processed. I spoke to CHC yesterday, though they weren't specific they said they were giving priority to temporary Residence permits. For the guys who have after applied in June we might be ok. But the huge backlogs will affect those applying from now on.

is consulate general of canada at Chandigarh working on student visas? ,its too much wait for student visa :( :(
