Hello Everyone,

I have few questions..I hope someone experienced can help me. Let me first tell you about my education background and why I want to change it..I did me 12th in commerce with psychology then I did BA program in English, Sociology and Economics and finally last year I completed my MA in English.
I want to change my stream to Computer Science and maily into Web and App designing and development. I have studied Computers till my 10th standard but my marksheet does not state that.
I was researching about the computer course yesterday and I found a course at Langara College Canada which provides Post degree diploma in Web and App design and development. Last year I gave toefl and scored 86 and I am eligible for the admission over there.
But the main point is that, is this possible that my student visa gets rejected becoz of stream change.? Is it worth investing money? Is there anyone who change his/her stream drastically and still got visa accepted?

P.S- My US Student visa got rejected twice this year unfortunately..
PLS HELP ME.

It is better to take short IT course in your country and take some internship or job in IT.
Then you can write of your letter that you did some IT experience and you really like it and now your goal it getting good education in order to be a professional in selected area.

Others can comment as well but the challenge in getting a study permit may always be you already have a masters and the fact the program you want to take up is not really relevant at all to your current qualifications. Not knowing why your US applications failed but maybe was same reason.

Do you for example have any work experience in this proposed field to back up why you need to come to Canada on a study permit. given that would seem more convincing a reason. Study permits are issued on the basis that any course makes sense and having taken such a course that it will improve your prospects in your home country.

HAving said above nothing to stop you applying given who knows if you can be convincing enough you may get lucky, getting an offer from a college is generally the easy part given colleges are in effect businesses looking for international fees, the study permit is of course the hard part.

Should I produce fake experience letter in IT field? Will it b valid? Will they be able to catch me?
no, very high risk that you will be banned to enter to canada.
even in they don't catch ypu, they can still catch you when you will apply for pr or citizen and you will be deported and banned

Getting certified and landing a job in IT sector, particularly in Web designing field is extremely difficult in 6months..Should I apply in college and then arrange for employment and work for 3-4 months?

What is the process of course change? If I don't get the visa, will my first year fees and GIC be returned?
I have no idea about course change process, sorry, but i know some students doing that.
Yes, in case visa refusal you will get your funds back. But you need to prove that you was resufed, and some of schools do not return fees if refusal was because of the misrepresentation .
