Strange OFF campus and PGWP problem

Hello Evryone,

Im graduating this December with a 2 year diploma and planning to apply PGWP after graduating.When i finished my first 6 months of study I have applied for my off campus permit from my Barrie address.Before receiving the off campus work permit I have moved to Toronto neglecting the off campus work permit But im sure that It was mailed to that address .Now presently i donot have off campus permit letter with me.

Things I have with me currently are
1) Study permit (valid till MAr 30 2014 )
2)COOP work permit (Valid till Mar 30 2014)
3)SIN (Valid till 2014)

Now my question is whether I can work after applying my PGWP for any employer and is there any way I can get my off campus permit letter now from CIC or service canada.

You need to surrender your off campus permit before applying for PGWP. You should call CIC and figure out what you can do in this situation because you don't have the physical copy, they should be able to guide you in the right direction.

yes u can work full time after completion of ur study on off campus work permit ,, if u are going to apply pgwp.. m sure when u ll work on ur off campus work permit aftter ur education it ll add in ur experience to apply for a CEC.. one thing if ur OFCP work permit expire n u waiting for ur PGWP ,, between that time period ur work ll not consider for CEC application ,, becoz that time ur status is implied ,,, so when i ll work after ur study so have valid off campus work permit or pgwp...

Thanks for te reply guys but the problem is I dnt have a physical copy of ocwp

Yes you can work,,, As long as your employer is satisfied,!!!
Because In CIC records book you have ocwp. which if fine in your case.
If your employer ask you any question regarding that better explain to him the whole situation!!!
I had experience in this.
