i have almost the same situation .... me & my wife did the our medical on 20-may-2010 ..... after we did the medical we discovered that my wife is pregnant almost 2 weeks.. a week later i sent the CIC an e-mai notify them that my wife is pregnant now in almost 3 weeks ........ the CIC didn't reply my mail but i received a call from CIC on 22-June-2010 to tell me that my visa is ready to issue & about my wife pregnancy , the VO tell me that i must choose now if i want to have my baby born will be in canada or to hold my file till my baby born & adding the child to my file because my wife pregnancy is in the first stage ........... I choose to have the visa now i get my baby born in canada..... after 15 Min. of the call i received the passport request by mail.

but i think in your case ,, your wife is 4.5 months ..... the visa will take around 2 months to issue ... & you can't travell in that time.

I have notified visa officer regarding my wife's pregnancy. i am expecting med req by oct and my question is how much time they offer to submit medical report after issuing med req?

since u have intimated the visa officer expect ur medicals in dec after the birth of ur child,, He will put BFD as of dec.

My Question is why there are increasing rate of getting married and getting your wife pregnant after you get your Medical. This is a growing suspicion.
Does CIC give DNA testing ? US Embassy does.

Obviously in your hand. there are accidents, but why would accidents be happened, people can be aware.
people taking kids after their papers are processed are definitely making the process delayed. especially the FSW 38 NOC list applicants.

Dear Jnathan,

I don't want to oppose your opinion but some other facts also should be taken in to account. Having a child is more worth than getting a PR to many of the people. So take it easy.
