what call buddy ? I tried everything.

1. Sent 3 emails since 20th May, 2011

2. Sent 1 fax to Delhi with CC to CHC Chandigarh

3. Even my University Dean personally fax to Delhi Office on behalf of 3 Indian MBA students. (including me)

4. All of us stuck at CHC Chandigarh.

5. Waiting since 20th may, applied under General category.

my Dean told me that they have certain "protocols" to follow while communicating with the CHC. They forward request to CHC, who in turn forward the same to CHC Chandigarh

Now this is kinda weird... urs a straight forward case.. good score.. y they delaying... cant understand...

just imagine I am laughing now, why ? Since my classes going to start by 8th august 9AM. And my bag is fully ready with books, clothes, laptop blah, blah ! But I cant fly with that sticker. I worked so hard with GMAT and telephonic interview to get into that school. I have only 7 to 10 more days to make it.

but its life....it happen sometimes

lets see what happen. I just felt CHC Chandigarh do not categorize between Temporary visitor applicants. We, students, comes under Temporary visitor, and they treat us as per others like tourist visa or other applicants. And finally, I felt CHC Chandigarh is too much overburden with applications.

anyway, stay in touch with me. Atleast we can ascertain the timeline.

just 4 ur info.. my sister also applied for TRV (tourism) at VFS chandigarh on the same day 25-7-2011 and her status in VFS is.. under processing.. in CHC website.. timelines are like 5 days for tourist visa and 15 days for study permit.. n as she has applied for tourist visa.. 10 working days are over for her tourist visa processing... so u can see where r the timelines at CHC chandigarh...

just 4 ur info.. my sister also applied for TRV (tourism) at VFS chandigarh on the same day 25-7-2011 and her status in VFS is.. under processing.. in CHC website.. timelines are like 5 days for tourist visa and 15 days for study permit.. n as she has applied for tourist visa.. 10 working days are over for her tourist visa processing... so u can see where r the timelines at CHC chandigarh...

1. forget about timelines, its applicable for only off seasons.

2. Generally May to July is the hard time for CHC to handle applications.

3. Atleast I am happy that my admission is valid for 2012, so I may put my papers again in November this year.
