Hi everyone!

I really need to hear something nice from you guys...I am desperate, I don't even believe in it anymore. Please tell me i am not wasting my time as I feel I have waited for too long and honestly patience is not one of my strong points.
It's well over 9 months now that i send my application as a Quebec applicant at the London office, apart from receiving a letter from them requesting a proof of lawful admission I have heard nothing else. I am just tired of checking my mail, reading forums and getting no respond...Atleast i expected to have received my medical request by now! Well the most annoying part is my friend send his 5mths after me and he has received the medical request and asked to pay the visa fee...I feel is so unfair as they say they treat applications on 1st come 1st served..Why don't they send me a letter or something to tell me if there is something wrong with my file...I know my background is clean, what then could be taking so long???
I knew immigrating to canada was a test of patience but i did not actually realise how stressful it could be. Same like many people here i am exhausted, tired of waiting, frustrated...Is driving me crazy!!!

What, I guess, could be taking long is that you are in a queue and when your time comes up, they will process it and probably everything will turn out okay when your time comes. It would be unreasonable to expect them to send a mail every month to let you know that you are in the queue. There are other applicants who applied before you, so they should process them first. I am, of course, guessing.

Here is the good news....You haven't been rejected which is good. If they have found something wrong, they would have contacted you by now. It is a test of patience. In some countries, people had to wait 6 to 7 years to get their PR under the old system.

Atlast! Some hope...

Hi Guys!

Is my Journey getting to an end? 2 days ago I finally received my medical request. I am very happy, however there are few things I do not know how to deal with. I have been requested to send copies of my passport with those of my dependents. The thing is they haven't got passport as I do not intend to take them along. Also we live in different countries and I dont know how to about doing the various medical checks...Has any got any idea??? Any Info will highly be appreciated! Thanks guys.

Dear Flozzy

I had started a thread like your situation regarding doing the medical test in different countries and Leon "Senior member" reply that there is no problem and your wife can ask the centre where she will do the medical to forward the result to the CHC-London.

Good Luck and God Bless you.

Cheers,
Zaid
