If your wife is the Canadian sponsor, she should check her email inbox (and spam box) to see if she missed any emails from CIC. She can also ask her MP (Member of Parliament) to contact CIC directly on your behalf. As a government official, MPs are able to get answers more directly on behalf of their constituents (voters) from government agencies like CIC.
But it also appears that while some Nov 2014 applications have gotten their AOR, not all have, so that could just be a normal delay. It is the sponsor who must contact her MP and who must talk to CIC during stage one before Sponsor Approval (at least for Outland, not sure if Inland applicants can get any answers from CIC before Sponsor Approval).
