Hey, any idea if it is 61 days from the day they receive the pictures or 61 days from the day you land? I landed in OCT and received Photo request in Dec 2nd week. They received it within the same week. It has been about 40 days since then and I still see that it is submitted. I'm not anxious but curious if I should follow up with them. If it is normal, then I would much rather wait. After all, It is not necessary for your day-to-day activities here.

P.S: Any idea if we need to have the card on our person all the time once we receive it? What is the requirement as per the law?

Normally after photo request it again takes same processing time i.e. If avg processing time is 60 Days then 55th Day Photo request + 5 Days you took to send + 60 Days Processing + 7 days Postal ~ 127 to 130 Days

For anyone keeping track of stats, my PR card arrived eventually, a bit past the 60 days, likely 65-70. I know of two other people that got theirs roughly around the 40 day mark, so the 60 day is likely an average number.

Thanks.

Mine was considered "finished" before they mailed them to me.

hi guys,

I have come here for soft landing for 10 days, have the following questions:

1. I have called CIC to update my address, they have updated my address but forgot to ask them to update the address of my wife COPR number, for that reason, I was able to link my PR application to myCIC account however could not link my wife's PR application, should I need to call them again and update the address in my wife's application and then only I will be able to link her application to myCIC account?

2. Since i have come for the soft landing only, if CIC is asking for the update of photos, can somebody provide me the address to courier the pictures as I am planning to take the pictures as a backup from Canada itself and give it to my friend along with the envelope having address to ensure if they ask for the updated pictures, my friend can send it?

Hi All,

I am trying to check the status of my PR card, its been more than 60 days and I had send another copy of photo long back. When I try to link my application its not happening and giving me a message as Application number cannot be found or I am using the incorrect category, I have followed the same steps as mentioned in this thread. Is there any other way I can follow up?

Thank you.

Hello there, can you specify how you received the request for photos from CIC? was it through CIC or through Email?
I did a soft landing on 27th of Jan 2018 and returned 2 weeks later, still i have no info on the tracking link.
I have taken a step further by keeping a set of photos with my friend to be produced in the event CIC folks come around with a photo request.
TIA

I was also trying to link application of my spouse and child for almost 2 months, finally I was able to link by following suggestion of @Hayhi87 https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...ine-and-processing-times-here.394703/page-363
Try these steps
1. Link PR card application based on uci and family name.
2. Use title case (capitalize first letter of each word) to put family name and place of birth.
3. In copr place of birth may be only listed partially due to space limit, but while searching the application to link you need to put complete as you have put in post ITA PR application, make sure to use title case only as the search is case sensitive.
I hope by following these steps you may be able to link, if not call cic.

I'm getting worried, I landed November 2017 in Calgary but left 3 days later back to Singapore. I remember filling out some papers at the airport. It's already more than 90 days and the PR card hasn't been delivered to the address I used (belongs to a friend). I have tried following the steps listed here to link the PR application but it says they cannot find my application. Does anyone have any suggestion?

Thank you dora115. your point # 3 is where i was making a mistake.

I have been trying to link my application to PR Card, went through a lot of forums. Finally I read in one of the thread that the "place of birth" should include city/town and the province/state of birth and not just the city/town as mentioned in the PASSPORT.

After 3 months, I was able to link all applications, family and self to MYCIC account. Thank you...

For folks who were asked to send new photos for their initial PR cards, and have recently sent them, on 27th Feb, IRCC was evaluating photos received on 16th Feb ... hope it helps

Guys

Can anyone please advice me that while linking the application, the Place of birth field is empty in my COPR so what should i write to link my application, should i select Passport and write what is written in Passport ?
