Not sure if this has been discussed already,

I've recently received citizenship, I travel frequently, I'm from Australia originally.

I have NEXUS, have held ESTA's, and most other forms of I.D/gov't documents that a frequent traveller would have.

I'm seeking feedback on anything that might require an update of my personal information since my P.R card number is no longer my primary form of proof of Canadian status, and I will very shortly use a Canadian Passport # as a travel/ID document.

I'm assuming NEXUS would need to know.
Airlines would have my PR # on file..

Anything else I should consider?

Thanks in advance.

You would need to go to nexus office to update it - no need for appointment, just walk-in would be fine, but you need to do this in person

Airlines will not have a record of any of your Canadian immigration status. They only get a board/no-board notification. This is why you are obligated to actually show your PR card/PRTD/Passport when you check in.

Yup, I did this too. Pretty painless and quick procedure.

Best thing about having a Canadian passport attached to your NEXUS card is that you won't need to keep getting I-94's every 3 months. It might actually make the more card useful for land crossings and not just for skipping ahead in airport security lines!
