Step Wise Procedures of Attestation For WES of Metric, Inter & HEC

I am wondering to know that is it really necessary to send the WES Academic Records Request form along with matric and intermediate certificates and transcripts? I applied for verification from matric and inter board offices (Karachi) some time ago. However, I didn't hand over to them the WES Academic Records Request form. I will be visiting board offices in the coming week and planning to send my documents through board office postal channels. Please guide me.

Those form are not compulsory but not harm in enclosing. HEC never encloses it. If you are talking about Karachi board, they sent themselves.

I am a newbee here with same old questions. Appreciate if you could bother to read and answer me please?

1. To attest SSC/HSC certificate photocopies from BISE Lahore what are the pre-requisites?
Do I first need to get the originals attested from some where? As of now my matric&FSc original certificates are not attested from any where.

2. Same question goes for HEC for the attestation of transcript photocopy of my bachelors degree. Shall I first need to get the original transcript attested from HEC?

Appreciate your response. Can anybody share their contact details with me, so that I can quickly call them and ask? I am based in UAE.

Hi I just did it in August from Lahore board

1- Make WES profile
2- Take print out of WES Academic Records Request form
3- Take 2 photocopies of your FSC/Intermediate certificate
4- Submit fee in board bank branch (If you will visit them on saturday then you need to visit HBL bank near gangaram hospital) fee is around 1500
5- On window number 17 or 16 I think (You can ask from reception that I need to do WES they will tell you exact window number from where a from will be provided by them)
6- Complete that form given by the board and attach your payment receipt with it along with photocopies of Intermediate & WES Academic Records Request form
7- Now your papers are submitted and they will send it via normal post within 2 weeks

Normally they took 2 weeks, so after 1 week do visit the room number (you can confirm the room number from person to whom you have submitted papers) where your courier will be ready for WES delivery. However I will recommend you to send it by your self, like do collect that courier envelope and send it via OCS (they will charge you around 2200)

Hi Fahad,

1. No need to attest the original from anywhere, just you need to attach the photocopies as described earlier.
2. Yep for HEC, you need to attest original along with number of photocopies you want to send anywhere. Like for WES, after attestation of that photocopy of degree, you will put it in an envelope and then ask HEC representative that you want to send it to WES, so he will then sealed it with stamps and give back to you.

Just two more questions: my original degree is already attested from HEC some 3 years ago, do I need to re-attest it?
Do I also need my originals of bachelors transcript to be attested from HEC, before the photocopies can be attested?

No need to re-attest the original degree which is already attested. You may just get its photocopy attested.

Yes you need to get the bachelors transcript to be attested, alongwith its photocopy.

I completed my bachelor degree in 4 years and 6 months . what should the degree show in the duration of the course like for example

duration of course : 4y ears or 4 years 6 months
year of enrollment: July 2002
year of graduation: april 2007

can someone please advise me on the issue

Duration of the course will be 4 years...

but start & date end date will be actual one...


In analogy, if you complete Intermediate in 4 years because you get multiple Fs, it does not mean that your HSC is of 4 years.. Its will remain called 2 year HIgh School/College education

What are those degree of ? MAters . Bachelors ?

@canada11 While doing BCS degree from 2000 till 2004, I did BA as a private candidate. But that is not the main problem. The problem which hec points at is that I went on to enroll in MA regular program while still in the last semester of BCS. Hence, the time clash, even though my last senester was research based and not class based.

To the best of my knowledge, & I repeat , to the best of my knowledge, your BCS will termed as 4 years of university education so in total you will get points for 16 years of education.

Same with BA & MA ,it is called 4 years of university education & they will too be counted as 16 years of education....

Thus attesting both BCS and BA&MA will not give you additional marks.

Thus attest either BCS or BA/MA


If you had MS or Mphil then it would be counted 17/18 years of education

I thought BCS in addition to my BA and MA maybe counted as two degrees atleast one of which is three years. My BCS was three years. By the way, in a month's time I will receive my MPhil degree too. I think you are right. On the other hand, maybe if i do an extra PG diploma or certificate along with MPhil, that might probably give me additional points. Thanks a lot.

Oh, and correct me if I am wrong please, as per my understanding, we get points for the highest level of degree, which means, if i have a canadian equivalence to masters, then having two Bachelors becomes irrelevant in my case. Am I right?
