I got my decision made status 10 days ago. (medicals accepted, Landing fee encashed,passports and pcc is also sent to delhi vo)... ecas status still reflects my current residential address.. any comment.s

don't rely on ECAS status.....some time they not updated ECAS.......you are good to go....

Qorax has a thread with similar explanation, but it's mostly true for applications before MI-2, so it's refreshing to see how the whole process has been updated to accommodate MI-3 and MI-4 applications. So I can safely assume that, if I already got my medical request, interview has most likely been waived?

The IELTs can't be older than 2 years WHEN YOU SUBMIT THE APPLICATION. If you plan to submitt your application in May-13 then you have to retake the IELTS exam.

Yes Most likely waived.......but still chance for interview....there are many applicant got interview call after medical......so hope for the best

so if my IELTS will expire on sept 2013, i dont need to retake it if i planned to submit it on may 2013 as it is still valid/good for 3 to 4 months (may 2013 to sept 13). As i said earlier, IELTS Validity should be two year when you Submit your Application, how you assume that you submit your application in May-13 at that time your IELTS validity is only three month. you have to retake the IELTS exam.

My application was received at CIC on 14th of June, I have not received any PER mail yet. I managed to get UCI by calling CIC and my ECAS status shows

for PER they may take 4 months expect your PER mail in OCT or NoV.......

First of all I must say. Very well explained. I don't seen any clarification questions being asked to the way you have explained. Thanks for your efforts. It give hopeful applicants more hope excitement as well as clarity to their application.

I have questions with regards to my Police clearance certificate. Due to time consuming process, I avoided sending it along with my application.

Now what would be the best time to send? Should apply for it now and send it when I get the PCC or should I wait till then ask for it?

Also, if I am applying for new passport which is expiring after 9 months, should I send the copy of new passport to them as soon as I receive it?

very informative post.
I just have one question here: the applicant send complete application package to CIC Sydney, Nove Scotia. when the application is reviewed and its complete then CIC send out the package to Visa office right??? THE APPLICANT doesn't need to resend the WHOLE application to the visa office. however the applicant need to send missing documents if visa office asked them to.
Please reply to correct my knowledge.

hello anyone here who have little time for me... i just wana say tht plz who done his immigration process or go through it plzzz write the procedure step by step and which documents r imp, where it submitted,whole procedure and PR card matter all of it.. i know some say that what this bullshit but plzzz if anyone have complete his immigration process and it is successfully accepted (therz no objection about his case) so please please write it down it helps a lot..
