I finally got my test invite and i am hoping to get this done Monday.
My one concern is the photo id. I have read the instructions online and one holds their id while they are in the background. Now Im not tech savy but any ID taken in this format will be backwards. My teen says you can do a mirror image but unfortunately my ancient device cannot do this.
My question is for those who took the test did you use the mirror image and switch the camera back for test?
Can you take the picture and upload it or does it have to be done in the moment?

Thx for help

No need to switch to use the mirror image or tinker with any settings of your web cam. As long as your web cam can capture your ID clearly and it's not blurry, you should be fine...

Thanks for the reply. Seems odd to me that they would accept a pic where thr ID details will be reverse. Not sure how they would read it. Im probably over thinking the technical.side of things.

How they use the data is their problem... you should follow the steps as per the instructions rather than changing the settings...
Your core focus should be to ensure you get your photo, your ID registered at the begining and ultimately passing the test

You'd be surprised what they can do with image processing today... but in this case the software is able to flip the lateral inversion very easily :)

Thank you. Worried for nothing  The biggest problem was trying to get it in the square and click 'take photo' without making it blurry lol.
March 13- Passed test 19/20.
