Hello everyone,
I have applied for my PR through express entry and received my ITA last month. I currently have a contract based job in Montreal, Quebec but I live in Mississauga, Ontario with my family. It is an agreement I have with my Supervisor since my job is computer based and does not require me to be present at the University everyday. My contract ends at the end of May and I'm in a dilemma if I should extend it or not since the express entry requirements state that the applicant should not live in Quebec. The below links make references about "living" in Quebec and not about "working".

I have a few options:
(1) Not renew my contract and continue with my PR process.
(2) Renew my contract and terminate it after I receive my PR. I will then include a Letter of Intent with my documents saying I intend to live and work outside Quebec and that I'm actively looking for jobs.
I would really like to hold on to this job as long as possible since it gives me valuable work experience and is a source of income. But if I have to terminate it mid-way it is not a problem and my Supervisor is accommodating with my situation.
There was a thread dealing with a similar situation as me but there was no conclusive solution.

I would like to know which course of action is the best suited for my situation.
Thanks in advance,
B
