Staying for 1 Day in Toronto

Hi, Is it OK if I reach Toronto for my soft landing and leave the next day? I cannot stay for more days and have to head back. Would be great if anyone who has stayed only for 1 night can share their experience please. Thanks!

Some people come and stay for just several hours and then go back. There is no requirement for minimum time in Canada after landing.

If you are planning for a week day then you should at least try to get your SIN either from the airport or at a Service Canada during weekday business hours. Even though there is no issue with staying for a day probably not best to volunteer that information to CBSA unless they ask as they can depending on the officer just say something to you to make a point.

Once you become a PR, you could even catch the next flight out.

You can turn around immediately, there is no requirement to spend any specific amount of time.
