Hi everyone.
i have a similar query regarding two statutory questions.

Has xxx been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

Has xxx ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

i was refused Canadian visitor visa, 2 years back. so should i say yes to both questions? and should i list all the things due to which my visa was rejected as listed in the rejection letter since they ask for details?

Yes to both. Provide details of refusal in the reasons section.

it wont negatively impact but the processing time will be longer as your application will need an additional review for the stat question. atleast 6 to 8 months.
Hi Navinball
I am secondary and have a study visa refusal of NZ. Said yes to both questions but as I didn't have the letter of refusal so didn't explain the reason. Reason was just that officer was not satisfied with my course selection and said I am not a Bonafide student.
I somehow got the letter now from consultant as it was 2 year ago.
I am 6 months into EE application and BGC started to IP2 recently.ottawa. FSW India.
Shall I send the letter to CPC via CSE as still got no adr.march notes reflected review for stat questions.
Any suggestions from your side please.
Thanks

All,

I am about to submit my application today, I came across Statutory Questions and bit confused what to answer.

My situation: I am in US on F1 visa, and last year my H1B visa application (not stamping) was denied due to in sufficient documentation. what I need to answer for below question (Yes or NO)

1. Has <Name> been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

2. Has <Name> ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?:

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi - did you get the PR? Was your application approved?
Did you select Yes or No for both the questions? My H1B transfer was denied.
