Hello Everyone,
I am filling out my profile post ITA. In the statutory questions sections there are two similar questions that are confusing me
1] Has xxx been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?
2] Has xxx ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?
My partner applied for student visa in 2014 and had a refusal and I applied along with him for dependent open work permit. He got a refusal and I did not receive any correspondence from CIC. We have never been deported or denied entry to any country.
This is confusing me as these two are similar questions and not sure if I should answer yes to just first question or both.
cheers
