Statutory question - had any serious disease or physical or mental disorder?

Hi,

I know this has already been asked in some form but I wanted an opinion on how to answer regarding strictly physical disabilities. When I initially read the question I was included to answer "Yes", but after some research I found that "physical disorder" is a bit different from "physical disability". I see "physical disorder" is a medical term for an illness/condition which can be diagnosed with a test such a scan or blood test, so not necessarily has to do with the "physical disability". As I have no underlying condition (that I know of), beside the physical disability should I answer "Yes" ?

I for one do not understand what you've written above at all. Are you saying you have a physical disability or not?

It would probably be easier for you to state what it is. At any rate, this will come out during medical examination.

Sorry for the ambiguity. Yes this is what I am saying I do have a physical disability. And no I am not trying to hide it in any way. The issue is that I read online that the terms "physical disability" and "physical disorder" may not be the same thing. Specifically the term "physical disorder" refers to a disorder which can be diagnosed using a physical test as contrasted by a "mental disorder" which requires an evaluation.
Basically the question is:
Is a "physical disability" a "physical disorder" or not?

Your words are again switching from phsyical disorder to mental disorder. Is it a physical or mental problem you are asking about?

I don't feel I can answer your question without some more info (which I'm not asking for, just saying it's hard to respond).

I think it may help to think of the word "serious" here as being more important than whatever distinction you're making or reading in here between disability and disorder. A disability of eg a limp or problem of reduced utility with a hand or arm may not be 'serious' because does not require substantial medical or life assistance on an ongoing basis.

But I don't consider myself an expert on this aspect of immigration at all.
