I have received ITA this January, there are two statutory questions which look very similar and I have posted the same response to both, I'm posting both questions below if there is a difference between the two then please explain it to me.

Q) Has Mr.X been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country? (required)

Q) Has Mr.X ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?: (required)

A) On 02 March 2018, United States Visitor Visa (DS-160) was refused under Section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, further documents were required for processing the application, like resume/CV and personal details, I didn't proceed for the visa further as my plans changed.

Thank You

They are slightly different questions (one asks about being ordered to leave a country while the other does not) but your answer should work for both.
