Status update "We have received your application" instead of "Open".

Hey guys

I created my EE profile yesterday and my application status got updated from "pending additional criteria" to "We have received your application, you will be.....".

I read somewhere that some people get status as"open". A consultant told me that CIC has changed it's wordings.

Is it ok? :-X :-X

There is nothing to worry. This is the expected message only. initially it was OPEN and on March 7th, CIC has changed wordings to all the status to make it more readable.

Hi,

Apologies for the rhetorical question, but my status showed "We have received your Application" both before and after I submitted my job bank profile. I understand from above someone else has the same problem and has been re-assured of the same, but just wanted to clarify if their status was the same even after Job Bank submission or not? And if it has to show as something else, what status is that?
