But for this free privacy act, do we have to ask for it every time in order for it to be updated, or once you get it, it gets updated everytime you log in ? and how long does it take for this free one for us to get it (in Canada).

It's the same as $5 one and it's a single request, you'll get a PDF file in your email. They send it to you on 31rd day after you file a request.
