Biometrics completed: on November 08, 2020

October 30, 2020: Booked flight tickets to Dubai based on the Biometrics appointment availability (you have to book flight tickets and Biometrics appointment simultaneously)

Traveled to Dubai: November 06, 2020

Stay in the hotel until the Coivd test results: November 07, 2020

Biometrics completed: on November 08, 2020

Just sharing my timeline since i experienced the same issue..

Applied for family members in end of March 2020.. Biometrics collection letter on the same day.. No response since then.. Others please share your timelines as well..

My family members application was approved on Nov 19th...
