Can anyone please tell me the difference between the statement of research interests and statement of interests.

I'm applying for MSc in Computer Science.
Never really done research before , just got a handful of work experience.

Please help with your suggestions.

In research statement, you have to tell about your previous research and the research you are interested in doing
If you don't have any previous research experience, then you can at least highlight about your future research interests.
And if you don't have future research interests, then make some story up, lol :)

Yea sure, both of them are essential part of research statement.
Though, I would advise to be as specific as possible. Don't mention general interests areas, rather be specific on your research interests

Btw, are you applying for MSc Computer Science at SFU? Because I would be applying to SFU in the coming week as well. I was going for their course based option but sadly they have discontinued course based MSc.

We have Memorial in common, I have also applied for course based here, when did you submitted your application for Mun?

I did it on 6th Jan
